Pastor Tiffany Boyd was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. Pastor Tiffany is the wife of Pastor Wylie Boyd, Jr. From their union, they have one son, Jeremiah, and one daughter, Jael. She is the only child of Dea. Raynard and Rev. Yvonne Palmer. 

Pastor Tiffany received her license of Cosmetology in 1998. She and her husband became the owners of the Shear Blessings Beauty Salon, a family business, in which she has worked for 22 years. She has earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Early Childhood and Human Growth and Development. She also attended the Baltimore School of the Bible and has a Master of Arts Degree in Christian Ministry/ Pastoral Counseling in which she is also currently pursuing a Doctoral Degree. 

Pastor Tiffany preached her initial sermon on January 9, 2000, and was ordained in the gospel ministry on March 12, 2010, both at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. As a child, she grew up in the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and was introduced to Christ by her late grandmother, Cora Palmer. She has led and served on several ministries including, President, and Vice President of the Youth Department of The Maryland Baptist Convention, served on the Youth choir, Youth Evangelism, Intercessory Prayer Ministry, Women’s Ministries, Mentoring, and Foreign Mission Ministry. In addition, Pastor Tiffany served as Pastor of Youth Ministries and was also a faithful Sunday and Vacation Bible School teacher. 

In January of 2015, God birthed New Hope Ministries in the life of Pastor Tiffany Boyd and her husband, where she serves as Senior Pastor, and he serves as Executive Pastor and Visionary. They started this church with less than 10 members and held their first service on February 8, 2015. God has already greatly increased the growth of this ministry and continues to bless New Hope Ministries. This stepping out on faith was led by the scripture: Matthew 28:19, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.”  In February 2022, God used Pastor Tiffany and her husband to lead their partners at New Hope to purchase their first building, a building which positions them to serve the community and lead souls to Christ.

Believing that those in authority should also be under authority, in 2017, Pastors Wylie & Tiffany Boyd were affirmed and ordained as pastors by Pastors Linwood & Apostle Karen Bethea. They are the Spiritual covering of New Hope Ministries and the pastors of Set the Captives Free Outreach Center.  

Pastor Tiffany gives God all the glory for her blessings and accomplishments. She has made a vow to serve the Lord until the day she dies. One of her favorite scriptures is Matthew 6:33, “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and all of His righteousness; and all other things shall be added unto you.”.
