Evangelize
Based on the Great Commission found in the Bible, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age”, it is our greatest desire to make disciples of men, women, and children (Matthew 28:19-20)
The mission is getting the message to the world, so their lives can be transformed and for them to become a part of the Kingdom of God. Our outreach ministry has positioned community outreach events to fulfill this mission (Community evangelism days, Food pantry days, Back to school giveaway, Social media messages, Themed Worship Experiences, and You Tube posts). It is goal, to lead at least 50 people to salvation in the year of 2024.
Encourage
There is a vision to minister to the brokenhearted, the abused and lost in our families, communities, in shelters, jails, hospitals, and in orphanages with messages of hope. We believe getting this message of hope and getting people to a place of wholeness comes by way of leading the way Jesus led; leading by the power of love.
Our ministries are positioned to encourage people from all walks of life. The leadership is trained to welcome all people in our church. We have formed a mentorship between leaders and new members to provide encouragement. Also, the messages
preached and taught are geared around hope.
Empower
Through effective worship experiences, messages preached, and individualistic ministry sessions the members at NH will be empowered to live a life of purpose and hope. Our music ministry has restructured our Worship experiences with a focus geared towards pure and intentional Worship. Messages preached and individualistic ministries (Women of Virtue- Women’s Ministry, Knights of Hope-Men’s Ministry, Daughters of Zion-Young Adult Women’s Ministry, and Generation Next- Youth and Young Adult Ministry) are designed to help people deal with past issues, overcome present strongholds, and then walk in the purpose and destiny God has created for them.
Equip
Our TSS (THRIVE Sunday Sessions) and TTS (THRIVE Tuesday Sessions) are bible classes positioned to teach and train people how to live as disciples. These sessions are formed to help disciples live in a way God has orchestrated for us to live, and to train disciples how to make more disciples for the Kingdom. We also have monthly leadership meetings to train NH leaders how to effectively lead, and to assist NH to grow to become a 5-star ministry.
